Inspect & Assess Damage
Our professional and trained staff will inspect and test all areas of your property to determine the extent of the fire, smoke, and soot damage. Smoke and soot can hide in the smallest places. That is why we are so thorough in the inspection process. This step is critical when coming up with a proper plan of action.
Board Up Service
Fire damage will usually damage or destroy walls, windows, and roofing. To make sure your property is secure, we can board up missing windows and walls, and place tarps on damaged roofs. This also helps protect your property for any weather elements so that additional damage does not occur.
The fire department may have used water to put the fire out and as a result the water may have caused more damage to the structuree. The water removal process begins immediately and removes the majority of the water. We will then use dehumidifiers and air movers to remove the remaining water and complete the drying process.
Cleaning & Sanitizing
We will use a combination of professional fire damage restoration equipment and cleaning solutions to remove smoke and soot from the property. This can include air filtration devices(AFDs) with special charcoal filters to cleanse the air. We also use a variety of cleaning methods to clean surfaces, contents and belongings back to pre-loss condition.
Getting rid of a lingering odor is about more than just cleaning up a mess. It requires a careful strategy and a thorough effort in order to locate all the causes of the odor and neutralize them completely. The goal is not to cover up the smoke odor but to remove it completely so that this traumatic experience can be a thing of the past.
